The Visiting Nurse Association has given a grant to sponsor a fathers support group that Eric Astleford will facilitate.
It is a five year grant and is open to all county residents.

Fathers and Children Together (FACT) is a FREE evening program for dads and their kids held at the Alburgh Library every Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m

It is a FREE opportunity for dads to meet and talk with older mentor dads, discuss their concerns, and have their questions answered by men who have “been around the block” a few times.

“Fathers are the single greatest untapped resources in the lives of American Children…”

-Kyle Pruett, MD, Yale Medical School

There will be free child care for children up to age 5 and a free dinner.  Dads and kids can share dinner and maybe do a project or read a book together.  Then the kids can enjoy painting, or a movie or playing with blocks while dads meet upstairs.

Call Eric Astleford (aka Mr. A) at 796-6077 or 796-3167 for more details

Participation in FACT and all related activities is voluntary.
