The Town Clerk's statutory duties range from recording, preserving and certifying public documents to administering oaths of office, complying with public information requests, posting notices on the Town's bulletin board, running the local elections, maintaining the grand list, issuing marriage licenses and licensing animals.

TAX NOTICE
Interest is charged at 1% per month after the installment date
8% collection fee is charged after April 30 installment.
TAXES ARE PAYABLE
Oct 31/ Jan 31/ Apr 30
The Town of Grand Isle Tax due dates have changed and the first payment is not due until October 31st. We will be sending the tax bills out mid-September
The HS-122 State Payment letters have been mailed out and we suggest if you escrow your taxes and you are due a credit that you alert your mortgage company as soon as possible.
***The credit will be divided and subtracted evenly over the three installments.
There is a drop slot available for your convenience - if you would like a receipt, please not that on your envelope. We are also open Tuesday evenings from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. till 12:00 noon.
